Inch Thread – Straight Hole - Heat/Ultrasonic Inserts Non-Stocked Alternatives

SPIROL’s Series 27 and Series 28 were designed to be post-mold installed with heat or ultrasonics into straight holes with a 1° maximum (included) draft angle. These Inserts are almost identical to the standard Series 29 Symmetrical and Series 30 Headed Insert offering, yet they have a slightly reduced center knurl diameter to minimize stress in plastic applications with a thin walled boss. The Series 27 is symmetrical for ease of orientation. The Series 28 has the exact same body style as the Series 27 - with the addition of a head for more bearing surface for the mating component to prevent jack-out. The Series 27 (symmetrical) and Series 28 (headed) Inserts are made-to-order in inch thread sizes ranging from 2-56 to 5/16-18.

These non-stocked alternatives are made-to-order in inch threads ranging in size from 2-56 to ¼-20.
