The Series 10 Self-Tapping Inserts are thread forming Inserts best suited for ductile or softer thermoplastics or thermosets. These Inserts are tapped into a preformed hole and the coarse external thread moves the plastic to form a thread within the hole during the installation process. These Inserts provide the best pull-out resistance for a post-mold installed Insert. The Series 10 Self-Tapping Inserts are available in inch threads ranging from 4-40 to ¼-20.
