The Series 40 Through-Hole Molded-In Brass Insert is symmetrical which eliminates having to orient the Insert as it is placed onto the core pin in the mold. Series 40 Inserts are made from free-machining brass and are available to order in a range of inch threads from 4-40 to 3/8-16. Alternatively, SPIROL’s standard Series 63 Molded-In Inserts are made from 2024 aluminum, a lightweight, lead-free grade and offer superior resistance to torque and comparable pull out.
